I can't believe I've lived nearby for 4 years and it took so long to try this place! First of all, I really appreciate how everything is labeled vegetarian and gf. They were also so helpful with navigating my allergies. My husband and I got a ton of food for takeout dinner and leftovers. I loved the lentil eggplant moussaka! I actually ended up mixing it with the spinach manti since I can't eat red pepper sauce. The hummus tastes homemade and the tzatziki is garlicky and excellent. Put your pita that comes with it under the broiler for a minute on each side and thank me later! I wish the spinach feta pie had more filling, but some people might really like the dough. The lima bean stuffed artichokes were fantastic (I feel like I usually only see fried artichokes on menus). The stuffed grape leaves were really interesting and definitely different than the Greek version I've had before. I can't wait to try more items, especially the baked falafel and kaitafi!
Great dinner on a very snowy night! Red Lentil soup, chicken, and grape leaves to die for.
This is a great option for take out or catering: everything is neatly packaged up in compostable or recyclable packaging, labeled clearly, and ready to eat. The chicken lemon soup and the red lentil fingers were my two favorites of the meal and I would have been very happy with just the 2 of them (bonus: also super healthy!), but there wasn't anything I didn't like. I did think the baked leek-spinach falafel would be a bit more flavorful, but the yogurt garlic sauce helped on that front. Each entree looks to be a bit $$$ but ends up coming with a choice of app, side and sauce, so is a complete meal in itself- but you'll want to get yourself some of the bread (the variety basket is a nice option) and more of the dips and apps (we got the 3 item platter, with hummus, tzatziki, and grape leaves), and of course some baklava or kataifi. You'll be full of tasty, healthy food. Much of this felt pre-prepped and ready to go, so there's definitely a heavy catering vibe here- take that for what it's worth.
A gem of a place that serves authentic Turkish dishes! Dolma was spacious and it felt so inviting. The staff were very welcoming and they answered all of my questions. My friend and I ordered three dishes that were absolutely filling and flavorful. The standout favorite was the moussaka which was beef, eggplant, and tomato sauce. It came with soft and pillowy pita bread that soaked up all of the goodness. Another highlight was the Manti which are Turkish dumplings. The Manti were bite sized dumplings topped with a garlicky yogurt sauce. It was comfort in a bowl! My friend and I were completely satisfied by our experience with the variety of food that Dolma had to offer. There was street parking outside. Dolma had plenty of indoor seating and they offer outdoor seating (unheated).
Love this place! It's close to where I live and I'm so happy to have it in the neighborhood. Everything I have tried is delicious and as someone who eats mostly vegan and vegetarian I appreciate all of the offerings they have that I can eat. Especially delicious are the vegetarian kofte which have so much flavor. They're a little spicy, and perfectly well balanced with seasoning. The folx who own and work at this restaurant are lovely and kind. Definitely recommend for someone who is vegan or vegetarian.
This is a quaint family run restaurant with a very friendly staff. There's a large menu and variety of options to choose from. We ordered the lamb stew and chicken saute wrap with tzatziki and a salad on the side. We were not disappointed, the chicken wrap and the tzatziki were the standouts, very fresh and filling.
delicious! & the service was amazing, fuiza was the best!! they have outdoor & indoor seating areas and have wifi. to order, you can self-order using the qr code on the table or there's a tablet at the entrance or you can walk up to the register and they'll take your order. we got grape leaves which i usually don't like bc the store bought ones are too acidic but i loved dolma's 5/5 the baklava was also one of my favorite bites the hummus tasted freshly made and all the bread in the bread basket was top tier for mains we got dolma, moussaka & manti. all very good. the manti were so cute. a lot of the dishes were yogurt-heavy which personally isn't my preference, i might ask for it on the side next time. my favorite main that we ordered was the moussaka
This place is amazing!! We went for the first time last night and were blown away. The staff are super kind and helpful. I am gluten free and they had so many options - she even got me bread for the hummus! I left my bag there and selin our server made sure that it got back to me. She was great! All of the food we tried was incredible. My personal favorite was the dolma but we will be back to try more! Thank you for a great night! Looking forward to returning! Very cute and cozy restaurant, and the food was very satisfying. Went here for lunch and they had a table for 4 available. We were able to order directly from the app using the QR code on our table. We ordered vegetarian grape leaves and pita and hummus to start us off. The grape leaves were delicious and so was the hummus. For our entrées, we ordered pepperoni panini, shakshuka, and salmon bake bowl. Food was nicely portioned, we didn't have any leftovers and satisfying for an afternoon meal. We ended our meal with some warm Turkish tea and coffee.
Guess which restaurant is a new favorite- yep Dolma!! I love finding new gems like this :) We ordered delivery, food came pretty quickly. As someone else also noted, food was all packed nicely and all in non-plastic containers. And look at the pic how cute the bag had these hearts on it - love the little detail!! As usual we got many dishes - chicken orzo soup, salmon, chicken sauté, eggplant moussakka w lentils, and the shawarma wrap. For each entree you get to choose a carb (rice, bulgur etc) and a cold app (many choices) and pita. We chose rice, tzatziki, sheppard salad, okra and vegan kofte. All the food tasted really good and fresh. Chicken soup was lemony and tasty. Salmon had a nice flavor, chicken dish was flavorful, and the eggplant was really tasty. Tzatziki was very creamy and yummy, and I liked the cucumber pieces in it. The okra was nice too maybe a little over cooked and mushy but still tasty. Salad was nice crunchy with cucumber, tomato, onion, and green peppers very fresh. The amount of rice that comes with each dish could be increased imo especially since most entrees are in the ~$20 range. The vegan kofte was not quite what I expected and a bit too sour for me. Hubs enjoyed the shawarma wrap - although he found a pickle in it and we had requested no pickle. Anyway, lots of leftovers so we'll be enjoying those for a few lunches. All in all, great fresh authentic tasting food! Definitely will be ordering again to try their other dishes. Can't wait!
